Access your High School & Beyond Plan to learn more about the military. Sign in to your High School & Beyond Plan here.
Use your Skyward/ Qmlativ info to log-in to your plan and click on the BLUE "Explore Careers" button on the righthand-side under the "My Goals" section. Choose the links under the "Military Links" section.
Your steps include contacting the local recruiter and taking the ASVAB. The ASVAB is offered to high school juniors (and seniors who are planning on pursuing a career in the military) as part of the ASVAB Career Exploration Program. The program provides tools to help students learn more about career exploration and planning, in both the civilian and military worlds of work. The ASVAB is the most widely-used multiple aptitude test in the world, and the ASVAB Career Exploration program provides the opportunity for students to participate in a world-class, comprehensive career exploration, and planning program.
The ASVAB Career Exploration Program is free to participating schools, and Ki-Be High School offers the test to all juniors. Military representatives come in to help facilitate the test, and then return a few weeks later to explain results to students. The test takes approximately 3 hours.
For more information on the ASVAB & to take practice tests, go to the ASVAB page.
