Do you have a child who is 4 years old or has turned 5 years old after September 1 and is not currently in preschool? The Transitional Kindergarten program provides early learning for students who are not currently served by preschool and are scheduled to enter Kindergarten the following school year. Transitional Kindergarten is a free, full-day program that focuses on basic academic and social skills to help qualifying students experience a smooth transition into Kindergarten. Priority for placement into Transitional Kindergarten is made based on qualifying application criteria.
