The OSPI office has put out guidelines for how much learning time we should be asking students to commit to each day.  Please remember when we are providing opportunities and suggestions for your students to work on, they can do some or all of the items offered.  Please choose which ones fit best for your student’s age and your family.

Recommended guidelines for maximum student commitment each day are as follows:

• Pre-K 30 minutes per day 
• Grades K-1 45 Minutes per day 
• Grades 2-3 60 minute per day 
• Grades 4-5 90 minutes our day 
• Grades 6-8 20 minutes our class (2.5 hours max our day) 
• Grades 9-12 30 minutes our class (3 hours max our day)
