Kiona-Benton City School District is in the midst of a curriculum adoption in 6-12th grade English and Language Arts, and in 6-12th grade Math. Prior to the board approving any curricula, a required community review period will be scheduled. • January 10, 2023 – Review of evaluation rubric – Both
• January 24, 2023 – Begin review of materials (separate locations)
• January 31, 2023 – Math continues
• February 2, 2023 - ELA continues
• February 14, 2023 - Math continues
• February 16, 2023 – ELA continues
• February 28, 2023 – Math continues
• March 2, 2023 – ELA continues
• March 14, 2023 – Math ed tech discussion
• March 16, 2023 – ELA ed tech discussion
• March 18 and 20, 2023 – Finalists chosen
• April 10-21, 2023 – In-person presentation by finalists
• April 27-31, 2023 – Committees make recommendation
• May 8, 2023 – Presentation by Instructional Materials Committee to make recommendation and action by the board
