Benton Franklin Head Start Program: Provides learning activities for children to prepare children to start school and promote child development. Also offers hearing and vision screenings and assistance in obtaining medical, dental, and mental health care.
Benton Franklin Infant Toddler Program: For families with children ages 0-3 who have concerns regarding the health, growth, and/or development of their children.
Boys and Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties: Encourage and inspire all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
Catholic Family & Child Services: Staff provides developmental screenings to children ages 0-6, offers behavior management techniques, and facilitates referrals to community resources as needed. Also offers a Child Care Resource & Referral service for parents for free....assists families with children 0-18 to ensure a safe environment in licensed child care facilities.
Columbia Basin College Resource Center: Must be a current CBC student. Offers childcare assistance, community referrals, holiday programs, networking, counseling/advising, and support groups. Also provides disability services, book loans, tuition loans, and travel/bus passes.
Community Services Office (DSHS): Helps low-income working families pay for childcare expenses so they can maintain their jobs.
Homeless Child Care: Assists homeless families in Benton and Franklin counties with up to 30 days of free child care.
Safe Harbor Crisis Nursery: In emergency situations, provides a safe place for children to stay up to 72 hours.
YMCA of the Greater Tri-Cities: Provides before and after school child care, day camps, sports, and activities for school-age children.
