Kiona-Benton City School Families:

We are excited to announce that we are starting a new form of school-to-home communication in Kiona-Benton City Schools! ParentSquare is used by many school districts throughout the Tri-Cities and beyond, and the platform is designed to keep parents informed and engaged with schools.

As we prepare to end one school year and start another, all district, school, grade level and classroom information will now be sent through ParentSquare to you via email and/or text. For your convenience, download the ParentSquare app (free iOS Apple Store or Android Google Play Store).

On June 3rd, look for an invitation email/text. (It will be sent to the email/phone number we have on file for your family.) Follow the steps outlined in this handout to activate your account: (English)  (Español)

You can use ParentSquare to:

• Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification
• Choose to receive information as it comes, or all at once with a daily digest at 6pm
• Communicate in your preferred language
• Comment on school postings
• Direct message teachers and staff
• Participate in group messages
• Sign up for parent-teacher conferences
• Sign forms & permission slips, sign up to volunteer, and more all from your desktop or mobile device
